Hello Everyone,
It's Joan's sister Jane again.
Joan asked me to write you all with a praise.
1. She and Joe just learned
around noon mountain time that Dwight has been accepted into
Craig Rehab Hospital in Denver. They want him there by noon
on Monday. PTL !!!! They have been praying earnestly for God
to direct them and even though it would be nice to have him in
KS, they truly feel this is in Dwight's best interest and are
excited for the rehab he will be receiving.
2. There's a man from Kansas
who is in Denver and headed back Sunday morning. If all continues
to go well with Dwight, Joe will catch a ride with him. He will
get most of the way home with this gentleman and then Denise
or David will pick him up. This saves Joe from having to purchase
a plane ticket home. PTL !!
3. They are slowly feeding
Dwight via the feeding tube again. They had to cut the portions
drastically (from 120 ml per hour to 40, then 50, now 60), however,
he is tolerating and digesting it. PTL !!
4. There is an additional
prayer request. Dwight has a sore on one heel. It's caused
by the boot they put on him to keep the tendons from tightening
too much which would create "drop foot" and hinder
rehab. They are keeping a close eye on it, however, the medical
staff has stated a concern for the condition of his skin overall.
Your prayer partnership is
a blessing more than mere words can convey!!! Thank you one
and all for standing in the gap for Dwight, Joe, Joan and Denise
!!!
