Hello Everyone,
I just called Joan to get an
update on Dwight (9:09 p.m. Eastern).
Joe noticed that Dwight's breathing
was a bit labored this morning. The doctors ordered a CAT scan
but they just recently got the results. The scan showed that
there is fluid around both lungs. They don't know what's causing
it. His vitals are at or near normal. They are doing a biopsy
to determine what the fluid is and what plan of treatment to
take. Dwight is back in ICU but primarily as a precaution in
case he needs the respirator he will have immediate access.
Joe hasn't decided whether
or not he will catch a ride back to KS tomorrow morning. It
depends on how Dwight does through the night and what the biopsy
shows.
Joan said there is reason for
concern, but they are not worried.
