Hello Everyone,
Joan asked me to write with
the following update.
1. The doctors estimate that
Dwight has 2-3 liters of fluid around the lungs. They were able
to extract 2 large syringes of fluid to be cultured. It does
not look infectious. Joan asks that we pray specifically that
the cultures come back quickly.
2. The doctors have also discovered
that there is fluid around the bowel.
3. They took a culture of
the phlegm in his lungs. There is no sign of infection - no
onset of pneumonia. PTL !!

4.. His vitals remain stable. PTL !!
5. The physician on duty this
weekend is an associate of Dwight's attending physician. This
doctor is hoping that they won't have to make any treatment decisions
before the other doctor comes back on duty tomorrow just because
that doctor is much more familiar with Dwight's case.
6. Craig Rehab Hospital is
willing to hold Dwight's bed until Tuesday. PTL !!
Joe will remain in Denver until
this health issue is resolved. Joe & Joan are still resting
and trusting in God.
