Monday, March 10 - approx 01:00 AM (late Sunday night)

Hello! Dwight's day was not as good as yesterday. From the time I walked in this morning he was flushed and felt very warm yet his temp was normal ... the nurse gave him tylenol this afternoon finally ... when i left it was 99.5 - still not really considered a fever yet i had the nurse give him some tylenol again ~~ his bowels worked overtime today so maybe he just had an upset stomach .. he is still tolerating the tube feeds however ~~ his vitals were all normal as well ~~ the last two days God gave me an angel by the name of Carmen ... she was the LPN that assisted the nurse doing the work of a CNA ~~ she ALWAYS encouraged me by saying that Dwight's expression was good and that God is not through with him yet ...she's been a nurse for 24 years and even worked at Craig a while on the spinal floor and has seen a lot of head injury patients ~~ she was SUCH an encouragment and didn't even know it!!!! .... tomorrow is to be the BIG DAY as we go 45 minutes south!!! Please pray that he will remain stable thru the nite and will make the trip. The case worker won't schedule the ambulance for transport until after the doc makes rounds in the morning ... i told her with our track record i didn't blame her!!! Trusting God's timetable .... joan for us 4
