Subject: GOOD mORNING!
Joe arrived last nite and we were busy catching up on Dwight, Denise and things back home and I forgot to send an update.
He had a very long day of therapies -- yet productive -- he did vomit (phlem) twice yesterday and Dr. Weintraub is not taking this lightly considering Dwight's history. The doctor will begin Monday giving Dwight a med that will cause his brain to be more 'alert'/'aware' ..... They are still trying to get his sleeping patterns regulated as well. His tube feeds are up and down with absorbing ....I asked the nurse about a liquid vitamin supplement to assist in his getting the needed nutrients, etc. SHe'll check with the doc for me ....I had my seizure and suctioning classes this week so now I can take him by myself outside, etc. Until now the BA has to accompany me. They moved Dwight to room 206 -- this is a private room as he does not need the extra stimulation from a room-mate (fine with me ... Mom likes the privacy!!)
He is getting stronger all the time and we expect great things from Jehovah Raphah .. The God who heals!!! Keep the prayers rollin' ...........
