Saturday morning, March 29 - approx 9:15 AM

...made it in safely last night. It was SOOOOOO GREAT to see her!!!! I have really missed her!! When we got to the hospital the BA had Dwight sitting at the elevator so as we got off -tah dah- there he was!!! She got all teared up....we wheeled him into his room and when she began talking to him ... he put on that "little smile" like he did for his dad only brighter!!!! I kid you not!! I KNOW he knew who she is!!! She was picking at him and such and he kept 'smerking' and picking back at her...it was SO awesome!!!!! She asked him to give her a high five and HE DID!!!! Three different times!!!! He would look at her when she called his name. He'd shake her hand when she asked him to ....He was SOOO alert from 8:30 when we got there until we left about 10. It was SOOOO COOL!!!! Brought tears to my eyes and hers too!!! It was just what they BOTH needed!!!!! He is responding more and more each day in therapy classes too. PT put him on the stand board for about 15 min and angled it about 70* and he tolerated it just fine!!!! He also is getting more 'trunk control' as well.....each and every day he is getting stronger and more alert!! When he yawns he makes a fist with his RIGHT hand and moves his RIGHT arm across his chest!!! Last Saturday they weighed him and he has GAINGED a pound!!! 46 more to go!!!! GOD IS SO GOOD ...... He will do far above all that we ask or think!!!
