Wednesday evening, April 16 - approx 11:45 PM

Hey! Our week was made when Jeanette [B....] visited this evening ... she worked with Dwight [...] in Vail. She was not living for the Lord and Dwight confronted her about this and talked to her about it. When she found out about Dwight's accident and pondered all he had shared in the times before she turned her life around and is now walking with the Lord again!!!!! When she called and told her Mother, she told Jeanette that she had prayed that the Lord would bring someone into her life that would help turn her life back to the Lord!!!! Dwight "smiled" ON HIS OWN when I took his picture with Jeanette. My guess for the smile? Dwight was saying to himself, "This was worth it for Jeanette to renew her walk with our Lord"!!!!!!!!!!!! After she left Dwight just laid there in DEEP thought!!!!! Is this not AWESOME!!!!???!!!!!!!!

Back to Dwight's progress ... He PASSED the swallowing test!!! Thus resulting in his EATING lunch AND dinner!!!!!! He did not eat much either time but ate well AND fed himself!!!! My sister Jane gave him some vanilla frappicino and when he finished he said, "that was good Aunt Jane".....He is getting stronger too. In PT today he did leg lifts (RIGHT leg as well), toe taps, 30 bridges (he is on his back, knees bent, feet flat and then lifts his hips) AND he did crunches as well!!!!! He was determined too! He did not grimmace in pain yet he 'grunted' and gritted his teeth as he worked out! HE also sat by himself at the edge of the matt and stood at the command of his PT. He also was on the EZ Stand (standing chair) for 30 minutes .... this was in addition to his normal classes. He also arm wrestled with Gabe and WON!!!! Man did he ever have a look of determination on his face! It was fun!!

OH OH OH OH ..... I nearly forgot to tell you ... his t-shirt had the Phil 4:13 reference on it and I asked him if he knew what that said and he quoted it WORD PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!! Keep praying!!! May God find us faithful!!! joan for us 4 I Cor 2:5 ...." so that 'our' faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, BUT on the POWER OF GOD".......
