Thursday evening, April 17 - approx 11:00 PM

Hello! Today he had the MRI on his right shoulder. They sedated him so he was pretty much groggy most of the day. He did well just the same in classes ... he only made the afternoon ones due to the MRI. He did well on the computer games OT had him do. Gabe had him pick a card from the deck and then tried to throw Dwight off by asking if others were the one. When it came to the right one ... Dwight knew it!! He also was able to write his email address AND his password. When the password didn't work we were discussing if it was case sensitive and Dwight told us the first letter was capitalized....voila! It worked! In OT she held his wrist and supported his elbow and asked him if he could move his right wrist ... he DID!! He made a fist and moved it up THREE times!! In PT his right hand was on his thigh and she asked him to catch the beach ball Gabe was throwing and he opened his RIGHT fingers ..... attempting to catch it. He is eating VERY well .... in fact they have completely stopped the tube feedings for three days. The tube is still in and will remain for now. Last I checked the results of the MRI were not in. Will let you know when we do. Joe travels out tomorrow mid afternoon and will return Monday or Tuesday ... family conference is scheduled for Monday. Please pray for his travelling safety ....
