PRAISE GOD GIVE HIM THE GLORY
.... NO torn rotator cuff!!!!! Dr. Weintraub said that they will
do physical therapy and anti-inflamitory with the sublexation
(seperation of the shoulder) to correct it. In OT/PT today he
bent his RIGHT wrist 'up' again AND he bent his RIGHT elbow!!!!!
PRAISE GOD!!! His speech therapist told him he was doing fantastic
and he goes, PRAISE GOD!! 
"He"
even recognizes who is healing him! While on the EZ Stand today
he quoted Ps 23 with me. He told Jess that his favorite scripture
passage is Ps 63 .... she was reading to him and then proceeded
to read his favorite passage. He was graduated to a 'Quickee
two' wheel chair ... it is a more 'independent' chair in that
he can maneuver it right now with his feet and eventually with
both arms .... His speech is improving all the time. He sounds
more like himself every day. He continues to do VERY WELL with
his eating .... however, he stopped drinking his milk to read
the label (calories, fat etc) ... he is still health conscience
with his eating I guess
.... He met with
Dr Berry again today ... he had Dwight spell world frontwards
AND backwards and Dwight did it PERFECTLY!!! He also said a series
of four numbers and had Dwight repeat them backwards ... and
he did it PERFECTLY ... he did several series of numbers for
Dwight to repeat and he did beautifully.. His speech therapist
had him follow instructions today and he did it 100% .... OT
had him count the money again and he did it 100% .... now they
know the r-cuff is not torn they will begin agressive therapy
with that arm! In PT they 'stood' him and supported him next
to none and he stood there reaching for beanbags and tossing
them into the bucket for nearly ten minutes! He amazes his therapists!
It will be fun to hear the assessments of everyone on Monday
at our family conference. Keep those prayers rollin' !! THANX!
