Hi! Today was a 'normal' day
as far as normal is here at Craig. Dwight worked hard and persevered
to the end. Janet Jones, a dear friend from Ohio, stopped by
today for a little while. Her and her mother are travelling to
Spokane. Dwight and I were on an elevator and I told him he
looked mad ... was everything alright? "I don't want to
be here", was his reply.
On the elevator I asked ... "No
... here at Craig" .... As he becomes more 'there' he is
more cognizant of the surroundings. He also is not as tolerant
of Jessica and I being around as well. We do not take it personally
as this is to be expected with a brain injury and we are just
grateful it has not happened until now. He also realized tonight
that he will not 'walk' home ... that, in addition to the limited
walking, he will have a wheelchair temporarily. Please pray
he will not 'dwell' on these things and stay focused on Christ!!
He is determined to work hard .. he even was disappointed he
will miss Mat Class (the stretching exercises with the other
patients) tomorrow, due to Speech and Swim therapies. His appetite
remains good and he is sleeping well also. Thanx for everything!
May God find US faithful!!!! joan for us 4
1 Cor. 2:5 "so that 'our' faith should not rest on
the wisdom of men BUT on the POWER OF GOD"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
