Monday evening, May 19 - approx 8:00 PM

Hi! Not much happened today. Just the same ol' same ol' .... He did the walker again and did fairly well. His right foot still 'flops' and he tends to put his feet directly in front of each other instead of side by side ... he'd make a good runway model! Ha! The "Light Gate" will help with this ... the apparatus that harnesses him in and manages his upper body and contains his weight so he can concentrate on the proper function and placement of his feet. It'll come ... it just all takes time.

Lou Ann [...] and the girls visited today ... For five minutes afterward he exclaimed what a great visit that was and he'd take one like that every day .... He said it'd been about eight years since he had seen them. I proceeded to tell him how frequent they have visited him since 25 January ... he was surprised and remembered nothing of their visits (and the last one was only 3-4 wks ago ...) He won't forget todays, however.

The preparations and planning for discharge are well underway. Please pray that God will put the perfect therapists from Wesley Rehab with Dwight. He did an EXCELLENT job here and I trust HIM now for there!!!
