Again, no excuse just didn't
make it here for an update ... sorry!
Yesterday he did the Lite Gait for the first time. He did very
well. Towards the end his right leg was tired and the knee would
'snap' in place in spite of the therapist helping his foot on
the treadmill. They were VERY pleased with his performance.
He also worked with 2 and 3 pound weights yesterday ... mainly
the right arm but some on the left as well. In OT/PT co-treat
they had him sitting on an exercise ball, tossing a beach ball....his
balance was extremely good. They also stopped his 'amantadeene'
(sp?) ... his 'jumper-cable' drug. They feel he does not need
it. Today they did a NIVA -- test for bloodclots ... a follow
up on the cronic on in his left arm. The nurse did not have
the report so I'll have to wait until tomorrow. He is, once
again, no longer in the lock-belt. They feel he has 'settled'
down where his impulsiveness is concerned and is giving the gate-belt
another try. He also is on 'shared' BA ... the BA has him and
another patient to tend. We did a trip to the Botanical Gardens
today. He REALLY enjoyed it .... he loves the out doors anyway.
Keep those prayers going ... we are continually seeing God's
MIRACULOUS healing ... and have a LOOOOOOONG way to go!!!! THANX!!!!
May God find US faithful!!!! joan for us 4

the wisdom of men BUT on the POWER OF GOD"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
