WOW!!! I did not realize that it had been so long since my last update ... I apologize!!!

Things are going well. He is gaining physical strength daily and doing well. He is up to 182 lbs. already!! He is beginning to develope the muscles and definition so he is beginning to look like himself.

He had the battery of tests on Tuesday with the Neuro people. This will give them a baseline to work from ... They went 'okay' he said. They will repeat the exact set of tests in December. This will then inform them of what parts of the brain are 'healing' themselves and what were just stunned and what parts are not returning to normal function. Please PRAY that God will allow the cells to just be stunned and return to normal. We will meet with Dr. Waltersdorf in about two weeks to get the outcome of these tests.

He gives therapies 100%+ ... he knows it is the key to him getting well. He so desires this. He is faithful once again to church attendance, even though it causes him to be very weary on Sundays. His right hand is very limited in motion and function (especially his thumb, index and next fingers) His range of motion in his shoulder is still limited, but improving weekly. He tends to keep his elbow slightly bent when using his right arm. This should all improve with time.

Joe and I are holding up ...okay. He is traveling and in CA this week. It has been a stressful trip and he is ready to be back home. I am preparing to share at the Ladies meeting, Women of Worth, on Tuesday evening the 15th at 7p.m. Please pray for discernment on what to share (my notes are LENGTHY ...) and courage. I am truely looking forward to this opportunity.

We will be doing the final preparation for David and Denise's wedding reception to be held the 20th. It is so wonderful to be able to plan something joyful and happy in the midst of all this. Y'all are invited too ... seriously!!!

Dwight's heart longs for CO and the mountains (I miss them as well.... ) but we are content with where we are. We look forward to opportunities in the future to share this miraculous story in the making......I know God has something awesome in store for Dwight. His heart's desire is to reopen a camp in Wyoming with a buddy of his. It would be for troubled teens and this camp deal is right up his alley. Please pray for this as well.

Please continue to pray for us as we still need it. We stand in awe each time we reflect on where we were, how far God has brought us and the hope of the future. God is good ~~~~ALL the time!!! God Bless!

May God find US faithful!!!! joan for us 5 1 Cor. 2:5 "so that 'our' faith should not rest on the wisdom of men BUT on the POWER OF GOD"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
