Hey ... NO I did NOT drop off
the planet. I just didn't realize how LONG it has been since
I sent on an update. Dwight is doing REALLY WELL!!!! In fact
..... PRAISE BE TO GOD he is FINISHED, yes, FINISHED with therapy!!!!!!!!!!
So much for the 11-12 months they told us last spring when
we first entered Craig.....they don't know our God, obviously!!!!
Thursday the 28th of August was his last. I had 'reserved'
excitement as now it is completely the responsibility of Joe
and I to see that he continues with his home exercises, etc.
and continues to improve. Quite the awesome responsibility I'd
say. BUT, God will get us through this leg of the journey as
well. He's brought us this far. Amazing as it is. We took
Dwight to Cattleman's Steak House in OK City for their biggest
T-bone as a celebration of his therapy graduation. Joe goes
to OK City almost weekly on business and has eaten there. It
IS the best steak ever! Steak is Dwight's favorite so we knew
this was appropriate. Do keep praying as the brain is still
not 100%. We are still praying for this and will until God shows
otherwise. Joe and I are still taking it one day at a time.
After all, God gives us light for the step we are on ... right?
God is good ... .ALL the time!!!
