Hello!! Joe's surgery went well yesterday. The doc said he got it all with no problem ... the incision is 5" long on the right side of his neck ... quite the war wound! Yesterday afternoon the pain meds gave him a nausious stomach and he kept NOTHING down ... his head throbbed uncontrollably ... the doc switched pain meds and that along with the anti-nausia meds he did well. They gave him a sleeping pill and he slept from about 9:30 -3:30 but could not sleep after that .... We are awaiting the rounds from the surgeon to release him for home. The drainage tube is supposed to be removed as well. He is feeling MUCH better today~~PRAISE THE LORD .... has an appetite too .... He will be out of work at least a week and restrictions on lifting, exercising etc will also accompany him home .... Please keep the prayers going!!

Dwight has his second battery of tests on Monday the first of December. Please remember him especially on this day. He is a bit anxious about them only because he wants to do well!!!!

His follow-up at Craig is January 28th ... so we wish to see as many in CO as we can during our time there .... not sure when we arrive, etc but will keep you CO folks informed.

Please remember Denise and her thyroid problem ... it has gotten worse and they have removed all meds for two weeks and will then start at ground zero once again .... it has gone from overactive to inactive thus causing weight gain ... which she has NEVER had to deal with and is quite frustrated .... she just feels so AWEFUL all the time ....

As for me .... right 'now' no health issues but tomorrow is another day......

May each of you be sure to count your blessings .... we, the Witheringtons/Salters have MORE to be thankful for than we can count!!!! To GOD BE THE GLORY!!!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

May God find US faithful!!!!!! joan for us 5 1 Cor. 2:5 "so that 'our' faith should not rest on the wisdom of men BUT on the POWER OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
